Wow, what a year 2020 has been!

COVID-19 certainly did whomp most of us upside the head these past months, didn't it?
​
But there were also some sunny spots...especially at the piano.
​
Kids' piano skills have skyrocketed, despite the switch to online lessons in March...
​
Confidence has grown...
​
Independence has started taking root (musically and electronic gadget-ally)...
​
(and no, that's not a real word, but it really did happen...students as young as 5 years old gained independence as they started figuring out how to sign themselves in and out of Zoom each week!)
​
Young musicians grew their note-reading skills and rhythm know-how through favorite piano games like PianoBuzz Jeopardy and Pharaoh Fred...
​
Students started looking forward to practicing with friends online during the daily Five O' Clock Practice Club...
​

Lessons are now available online and in-person (for those in the Springfield, Illinois area), so let's keep moving forward, having a blast learning new songs at the piano and making new piano friends.
